Week 3 - Sleeves
If you're just chiming in now, check out the first and last week's post! We worked on the gauge swatch, casting on, and knitted the collared yoke. Then we separated the sleeves from body of the cardigan & knitted the remaining portion of the body.

Let's recap: We cast on and started the collar. Then we started the Yoke increasing every other row. We then separated the sleeves and placed it on scrap yarn. The remaining body was then completed down to the ribbing. We are ready to place the sleeves back on the needles and finish the cardigan!
Bust: 30 (34, 38, 42, 46)"
Sleeves: 17 (19, 21, 23, 25)"
GAUGE: 4" = 8 Stitches & 13 Rows.
ABBREVIATIONS rs – Right Side
ws - Wrong Side
co – Cast on
st(s) – Stitch(es)
k – Knit
p – Purl
pm – Place Marker sm – Slip Marker yo – Yarn over tbl – Through back loop
k2tog – Knit 2 stitches together rem - Remaining rep – Repeat st st - Stockinette Stitch (k on rs, p on ws)
Let's get started on the sleeves
SIZES XS (S, M, L, XL)
Sleeves | US15/10mm NeedlesUsing 16” needles or double pointed needles
Place the held sts on the needles. you'll need to pick up sts for the additional 3-4 co sts at bottom of armhole.
Round 1-5: k all sts.
Round 6: k2tog, k all rem sts.
Round 7: k all sts.
Rep rounds 1-7 until 15 (17, 19, 21, 23)”long.
Customize: Rep until desired length (2” less for cuff).
Try it on every decrease round to see if it fits around your arm the way you like. If you need more decreasing, decrease every5 th , 4 th , or 3 rd (& so forth) round instead.
Cuffs | US13/9mm Needles
If you do not have an even number of sts, repround 6 once more.
Round 1: [K1 tbl, p1] around.
Rep round 1 until your cuff is approx. 2” ordesired size.
Cast off/Bind off
