How to Knit: The Yarn Over (yo) Stitch Tutorial


Today's tutorial is on the Yarn Over (yo) stitch. This stitch is used in openwork and lace patterns. The yo stitch creates an increase stitch. The yo stitch creates a hole in your work like my Diamond Back & Wolf Slouch Beanies (pattern available in shops).




Instructions: You simple wrap the yarn around your right hand needle to create an extra loop on your needle, creating an extra stitch.
