How to Knit the Backwards Loop Cast On

I have been trying to design more garments and I'm not a big fan of sewing pieces together. Right now, I'm working on a sweater that I'm trying to design with very little sewing. So this requires casting on mid-project.

So today's video is on the Backwards Loop Cast On method. It's pretty simple.... you're twisting the yarn so that it wraps over the needle and back through the space in-between stitches.

I must say that casting on this way isn't very sturdy and the stitches stretch... I find that it's sort of "delicate" so I had to knit the stitches on the 2nd row carefully.

I ended up using another cast on later in design. I will be providing a video for that soon! It's very similar to the Cable Cast On Method but instead of inserting the needle between stitches, you insert the needle as if to knit.
