Crochet Thicket Stitch Tutorial

I Love this stitch! I'm working on a sweater design using this stitch and it's so pretty, you can use it for anything!

ABBREVIATIONS

ch - chain

st(s) - stitch(es)

sc - single crochet

dc - double crochet

sk - skip

rep - repeat

STITCH PATTERN

Foundation: Chain in multiples of 2 stitches (any even number)

Row 1: [1sc, 1dc] in the 2nd ch from hook, *sk 1 st, [1sc, 1dc] in next st. Rep from * across until last 2 sts. End with sk1, 1sc in last st.

Row 2: ch1, turn. [1sc, 1dc] in the 1st st, *sk 1 st, [1sc, 1dc] in next st. Rep from * across until last 2 sts. End with sk1, 1sc in last st.

Repeat Row 2 until desired size. That's it! It comes out with so much texture and very pretty!
