Crochet Lacy Spring Scarf Pattern

Ch – Chain

St(s) – Stitch(es)

Sk – Skip

Sl st(s) – Slip Stitch(es)

Sp – Space

Dc – Double Crochet

Rep – Repeat

PATTERN NOTES

The written pattern used Red Heart’s Gleam yarn. You can use any weight yarn with the appropriate hook size. Notes for adjustments are provided int his pattern.

PATTERN

Foundation: Ch 20 sts.

Adjustments: To adjust width, ch in multiples of 6, plus 2.

Row 1: 1sc in 2nd ch from hook & 1sc in next st, *ch3, sk3 sts, 1sc in the next 3 sts. Rep from * until last 5 sts, sk3 sts, 1sc in each of the last 2 sts.

Row 2: Ch1 & turn, 1sc in the 1st st, *5dc in ch3 sp, sk1 st, 1sc in next st. Rep from * across.

Row 3: Ch3 & turn, sk2 sts, *1sc in each of the next 3 sts (middle 3 sts of dc from previous shell st), ch3, sk3 sts. Rep from * until last 2 sts. ch2, sk1 st, 1sc in last s.

Row 4: Ch3 & turn, 2dc in ch2 sp, *sk1 st, 1sc in next st, sk1 st, 5dc in the ch3 space. Rep from * until the ending ch space. 3dc into the space at the end.

Row 5: Ch1 & turn, 1sc in the next 2 sts, *ch3, sk3 sts, 1sc in next 3 sts. Repeat from * until last 5 sts, ch3, sk3 sts, 1sc in next st, 1sc in 3rd ch in turning ch.

Rep rows 2-5 until scarf measures approx. 39” long or until desired length.

FINISHING

Fasten off & weave in ends
